HOT Roll

As a dealer and supervisor for 12 years in Las Vegas I have only been on the table for rolls that lasted more than an hour 4 times. One was at the Golden Gate on Fremont Street (break in dealers and players REALLY slow the game down) biggest bet on the table after the hour was a $24 6. After an hour roll at the Stardust the Hawaiians on the table were hiding chips from the IRS.

At the Fremont they use to keep track of how many rolls each shooter had, if you rolled 15 times or more you got a jacket. They had one woman roll the dice 119 times on a 35 minute roll, it was herself and 2 other players, none of them pressed a bet or took more than $5 on the Pass line with $10 odds.

When I was the only player on the table at the now closed Monte Lago casino at Lake Las Vegas I was able to turn my $54 across into $1,000 for myself. Once my 8 reached $30 I bet $6 for the dealers and pressed it and used the payoffs to put them on the other numbers. When I was done shooting (15-20 minutes) their 8 was $120 and they had over $300 in tips in their box.

When we were at Foxwoods some years back i was at a slot next to a craps table and a few started yelling indicating a good roll. I quickly left the slot and went to the table. I don't remember the length of the roll but i turned a 100.00 into 3300.00 when we finally left the table. I myself rolled a few times from 45 minutes to over an hour at various casinos including Aruba where i was hot. They put a piece of string across the table and said i had to throw the dice over the string and a few other ploys to try and break my streak. They did every thing but change the dice which would have resulted in a mob scene. Few and far between though:. While in Vegas a few years back i remember reading an article the casino had posted out front in a glass enclosure about a roller that rolled for 4 hours and 45 minutes. Don't remember the casino. The article listed how much the table went thru and how much the roller cashed, how many times they had to refill the table. Was a real interesting piece of work.:D

Great Story!!!......We Love to Play Craps as well.....Best We've done is take $100 and Won over $3,000....

Once years back in some Little Dive Casino in Vegas(Cant remember the exact name, something like Little Anthonys or Little Ceasars, it was in a small strip mall area)...There were only 4 of us on the only table there , Minimum Pass Line Bet was only $1.00....DW got on a roll and one guy started betting large amounts,$100 Minimum On ALL the Numbers and $25 Minimum on ALL the Hard Ways.

We were pressing our Original bets which at first were $5.00/$10 up to $25-$50 bets, betting everything but the casino would try and slow the roll down by looking at the dice alot, had chips brought in by Security when you could see they didnt need any, etc.....

And then they did something I've NEVER Seen...They brought at a Blocker, this basically cut the table's size in half.......

Never seen this or even heard about such a thing....Anyway DW still rolled for about another 15 minutes and WE walked out with over $2,000 Plus...:D...And even though We were Tipping the Dealers and Putting up bets for them ,the Pit Boss and few of the dealers looked Angry that We were winning So Much.....The Guy betting the $100's per numbers wound up with over $10,000 in chips....
