Since we'll be in port on a Sunday, I figured we might like to attend Mass!

 

Anyone know if there is a church with in walking distance from the pier?

St Mary's Star of the Sea is only about 15-20 min walk up Duval 9 blocks to Truman then left on Truman for two blocks. It is located on the corner of Truman and Windsor Lane.

St Mary's Star of the Sea is such a beautiful church. We go there every time we visit Key West. While there be sure to visit the grotto designed like the one in Lourdes. Key Westers go there each year before the hurricane season to pray that no hurricane comes to Key West. There is also a lovely, peaceful garden to the right of the grotto that we visit. We like to sit there on the bench under a tree and rest and reflect.

 

There is also a small chapel of perpetual adoration. We often go in there also.
