Anyone know if they(Spirit) cruise East of Vancouver Island to Alaska??

Hi,

I know when you leave out of Vancouver they cruise East of the Island...(Inside) up the Coast.

Lots of ships(other lines) on the "map" that leave out of Seattle looks like they cruise to the West of the Island....out in the open ocean which I hear is a "rockier" ride.

 

Looking at the Spirit route on the map they have out....Looks like they cruise East of the Island...in between mainland.

 

Is this true....anyone know?????

This is the first year Carnival is cruising out of Seattle, so no one can speak from experience about Carnival.

 

The maps they have online are not always accurate.

I hope they do....that will probably be the final push for me to book.

So if I was to call Carnival....would they know for sure....or is everything "heresay".....and worse could vary from sailing to sailing. I thought maybe they had a chance because it is a smaller ship.

Thats what I was afraid of.....seems ridiculous like they should know.

 

Sounds like this new Nickolodeon cruise on NCL...noone seems to know when they are???? Wierd.
