Beach near Toulon

Toulon will be our final port in June and I'm thinking the family will be tired from touring in the previous ports. Can anyone recommend a nice beach near Toulon since I'm planning a shorter day to return and pack? Thanks in advance.

There is a nice beach in Toulon. The 2 times we called there, the little land train was waiting at the dockside, and it's tour included a brief stop at the beach. It looked quite busy on a hot August day, but seemed to have good facilities and was a pleasant area. It's no more than a mile east of Toulon.

As this is our first stop can someone tell me would we have to get a taxi from the ship to reach the little train around town. Thanks
