Hyatt Place Busch Gardens, where to eat?

We're staying there 2 nights post cruise and going to Busch Gardens each day until the sun kicks our butt. We are wondering what is near by for dinner or even breakfast if the hotel doesn't suit our needs.

The hotel is near BG & also the University of South Florida, along with a big mall. There are a ton of chain restaurants in the immediate area - including sit-down places and fast food joints.

Other than the big chains, there are a few good local places nearby:

About a mile away, down Fowler Ave there is a good Italian/pizza place that has long been very popular, CDBs (they make a thick crust pizza, kinda a Chicago style). If you want something good & simple, Mels Hot Dogs (on Busch, a block or 2 east of the BG entrance) has long been a Tampa favorite.

A block or 2 south on 30th St (the road the hotel is on) there is a pretty good seafood place, StingRays. It is somewhat related to the seafood chain "Shells" (the chain went under; I believe this place is owned by one of the founders of the Shells restaurants - the menu is very similar to the original menu of the chain).

Great, thanks so much!
