Cabin outside laundry

We have booked a cabin outside the laundry on the Volendam. Is it noisy. It's cabin 6156.

We were on the Volendam in 2007. Didn't have the cabin across the hall but never heard the laundry when walking past. The laundry room door was open because of the crowd (last sea day of an Alaskan cruise).

 

Have had the Laundry room across the hall on the Carnival Elation and never heard a thing. The only times it was super busy was before the Formal night for the iron and the last sea day.

You will be fine -- most times that laundry door is closed. Also there are times posted for when you can use it -- usually 7 AM until around 7 or 8 at night.

We were 2 doors down from a laundry area on one of our cruises and never had any noise issues at all..........And I loved the convenience of running in there to use the iron.
