Early Saver Question

I have looked through the posts and have not seen an answer to this question, so I thought I would ask it.... On Early Saver fares, does the price drop price have to come from carnival.com or can it come from any travel site? Also if your category is not showing up but a category above you has dropped below what you paid, can you get upgraded?

Only prices from Carnival will he honored. and yes, you can upgrade, just no downgrades :)
