Panama Canal Spring 2011?

Recommended Posts

Did I miss read that the Jewel is doing 10 day Caribbean that goes into the Canal but not through it???

NO - it goes to Panama but not through the canal - we're booked for 11 day on March 7, 2011 on Jewel. :)

so the Jewel cruise, you don't get to experience being in the Panama Canal is that correct?

I believe it's called the 'Ultimate Caribbean' cruise and no it does not do a partial anymore.

I've said this often-please RCCL-brig back the partial.

I've been looking into Princess as they still do a partial.

I too wish they would bring back the partial transits, until they do, you can still experience a good portion of the Canal by taking the "Canal by Ferry" (or something similarly named). This tour will take you through the Pacific Locks and Gaillard Cut. This part of the Canal has more to offer visually and you get to see some of the countryside to and from the ferry.
