Just curious...

Already planning for next year...Looking to depart anywhere from 3/30 to 4/3 of 2011 out of a port that's driving distance from NJ...So that leaves me with NYC, Baltimore, Charleston, and the farthest I would drive would be Jacksonville. It's always too expensive to fly.

Is this all I have to choose from or will they still be adding cruises.

So far my choices are:

9-day Bahamas RC Enchant. of Seas out of Baltimore

9-day Caribbean RC Expolorer of Seas out of NYC

7-day Bahamas NCL on Jewel or Gem departing days apart out of NYC

7-day Bahamas Carn. Pride out of Baltimore

10-day Caribbean/Mexico Celebrity Mercury out of Charleston

I like the 10-day but that ship looks like its really old :(

What do you think?

I like the 9 day out of Baltimore for the itinerary and the smaller class ship. We like the carnival pride and are doing it again this October but not thrilled w/ the itinerary , at least enough of port canaveral already.

We've sailed NCL from NYC 3 x and thats never a problem but the food alone on carnival vs. NCL is so much better.

You have some great choices , have fun whatever you choose.

Yeah Canaveral can be expensive. Somebody said if you stop in Canaveral to get a rent a car company to deliver a car there in advance and move about Florida like that for the day. The last time I was there they wanted like $50 each way to anywhere...decided to stay on the ship instead.

Thanks for the quick reply!

They do have shuttles you can pay right at the cruise port in Pt. Canaveral. We just have been to Fla , that area so much we have no interest in that .

Theres plenty you can do on your own that won't cost that much.
