Cruise Prices

They weren't joking when they said the price of cruises were going up. The cruise that we have booked for August 21st has went up over $100 a person. (And isn't that during hurricane season?) I am amazed at the cost of the cruises in July & August - because we have cruised that time of year several times and even with inflation the costs are way higher! I am glad we booked when we did. If we could find a "cheap" enough special we were thinking about just booking all 4 of us in one room and taking a 3 or 4 day cruise for our family vacation...but not looking like it is going to happen - so I guess Nashville here we come!

The cruise at the end of August is for our 25th wedding anniversary :)

All of summer is hurricane season! June 1 til the end of November...

Yeah... the prices have gone up but really only over the summer. The prices on my cruises in September and November have stayed steady and so has my cruise in February...

:)

I keep checking to see if the price for my upcoming cruise on the Carnival Paradise has dropped but nope...now the price is $114 more pp than what I paid. And that is for a PT!!:eek:

Try to look at it this way.........you got a pretty good deal!!

We booked an aft wrap on the Liberty in Feb of 08 for Feb of 09. The price went up and never came back down anywhere near what we paid for it....it just kept going up and up. So I guess we got a pretty darned good price!!!!

Enjoy!

My cruise in a few weeks has gone down $100/pp for the Past Guest fare.

I called my TA and Carnival told her that they could give me a bigger cabin with a bigger balcony, HOWEVER it is a 4-person and we are only two so there is a chance we could get bumped.

I am enamoured with the aft view (NOT WRAP) cabin that we have so I passed.

But my DH wants me to call and take it....
