ailuro Posted April 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2010 Quick question - how do we know on a daily basis how much we have spent on our onboard account, we have prepaid service charge, and know how much the excursions will cost, but it would be good to know we could keep a check on the other things we add to it. Can we do that, and if so, how? TIA:)
surroundedbyboys Posted April 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2010 Just go to the front desk and ask them for a print out. It just takes a minute.
ailuro Posted April 12, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted April 12, 2010 OK, thanks for that, I had thought it might be on the in-room TV like some hotels do it, as long as we can check now and again we'll be happy.:)

I'm not an expert on which ones, but I was able to see my account on the TV on the Gem in January. I was in a penthouse suite.

Mooder Posted April 12, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2010 Oooooooooooooooooh! This is new to me. Either it happened between my June cruise and your October cruise OR (more likely) I was oblivious! :o Thanks!

Either it happened between my June cruise and your October cruise OR (more likely) I was oblivious! :o Thanks! Or I got the wrong ship! I have not had a suite before and I know I checked the account on the TV so I would hope it is available to all!:)
Mrs. H. Posted April 12, 2010 #8 Share Posted April 12, 2010 I remember something about seeing our our account on the tv last May on the Dawn but didn't bother with it. We go to the front desk for a print out a few days into the cruise just in case anything is off we can catch it sooner, rather than later. When my dh wins in the casino he goes to them to put $$ on the account. :D Less cash in hand, less we own them at the end. I love seeing the credit on the print out. :)
UandMe4Ever Posted April 12, 2010 #9 Share Posted April 12, 2010 Hi, just my thought: We were on the NCL Jewel for 14 nights, coming back mid November '09! We were not able to access our account from the TV - They do not have that set up yet, so every few days, DH went downstairs for a printout, so we'd have an idea of what we've been spending! I do however, like the ticket machines in the Casino...no mess, but since I never won, there was no mess of money or buckets :-( Going on Explorer 11/10 - 12nites...I know their TV is interactive for menus, billing, etc., but they use the old fashioned bucket for real coins...If I win, I'll deal with dirty hands. Safe sails!!
garycarla Posted April 12, 2010 #10 Share Posted April 12, 2010 None of the NCL ships that we have have sailed have this. We just stop once or twice and get a printout.
sinclaj Posted April 12, 2010 #11 Share Posted April 12, 2010 We had the account shown on our TV on the Gem. It was not available during our sailing on the Sun, Dawn or Jewel. Judy
Studebaker59 Posted April 12, 2010 #12 Share Posted April 12, 2010 We also were able to see it on the cabin tv on the Gem in January, 2010.
bakerintn Posted April 13, 2010 #13 Share Posted April 13, 2010 We also were able to see it on the cabin tv on the Gem in January, 2010. What a depressing way to start the day!!:)

Mrs. H. Posted April 13, 2010 #17 Share Posted April 13, 2010 I checked my account enough times on my last cruise to make sure we were using up all our OBC. LOL Bought jewelry on the last day and I believe I owed them $50 or so. I wasn't leaving ANY $$ behind. :D
