love_cruises Posted April 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2010 Can anyone tell me why the Crown Princess bridge cam says "at Roatan, Honduras anchorage" ? Are they going to do this now if the winds are to strong to try and get the ship in that small area or is there another reason for this?

RickEk Posted April 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2010 The new cruise dock at Mahogany Bay only accommodates two ships... maybe that's why they're anchored?
briandama Posted April 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2010 Well I'm not sure but according to CruiseTT the Crown Princess is the only ship scheduled to be in port today. http://cruisett.com/ports.php?PortID=606&date=20 And the Weather Channel is reporting only 14 MPH winds right now. http://www.weather.com/weather/today/HOXX0014?lswe=Roatan,%20Honduras&from=searchbox_typeahead
