Dining on the Island Princess

We've done PC on both the Island and the Diamond and will do it again on the Island.

The Island uses one big dining room for PC and the Diamond has four smaller ones. It's nice to have the smaller dining room feel, but it's really not anytime dining. You do have to make a reservation during popular times and they fill up fast. If you really like to dine when you feel the urge to eat - then the Island is so much better.

I don't know about traditional.

On PC dinning - can you make a set reservation time to eat each night? Can you do it for the whole cruise or must it be done one day at a time?

Your choice. If you like your table and wait staff, you can ask the Maitre D' to reserve it for you for the remainder of the cruise or you can walk in anytime you want without a reservation. However during formal nights you might want to make a reservation as most people opt to eat in the dining rooms.

Thanks for the answers about how Personal Choice dining on the Island is different from Personal Choice dining on the Diamond. The posts were most helpful. I wonder if anyone has dined in the traditional dining room on the Island and knows if this dining room has tables for two. Thanks again for all the helpful replies.
