Galapagos on the Islander - will I get seasick?

Recommended Posts

Hi - we're booked for 7/31/10 and super excited, although I was a little hesitant as the larger vessel has a stabilizer and Islander does not. Has anyone been on this 48-passenger ship? I'd be curious to hear anyone's experiences and/or tips, and especially if there were any passengers that got seasick. We're going with our 11 and 13 year old boys, who are convinced they may die without internet or electronics.

Riverdees - I did not get sick at all despite my fears. I did take the generic version of Bonine (available over the counter) every day just in case, starting before we boarded. And the boat got quite bouncy at times. In the past I've been prone to motion sickness, so I think if anyone would be affected it would be me. Not a problem. And it was one of the best vacations of my life!
