Summit Bermuda cruise good for families?

We have just placed a deposit on the Summit Bermuda cruise from NJ. We have sailed primarily on Carnival and sailed one cruise on Princess. How does Celebrity compare? We have two boys age 15 and 13. We've heard good things about Celebrity cruises. Any feedback would be appreciated.:)

Have brought my children now aged 14 -29 on at least 10 Celebrity cruises. The children's camps were always wonderful, and we have sailed thei ships for over 20 years!! We are sailing on the August 8, 2010, I have spkoen with other people who are also bringing teens aboard. Bermuda is a great port for this age group, and you spend much time ashore on the many things to do in Bermuda. Any specfic questions that youhave, I can answer for you.

I agree about the kids programs but the think I like about Bermuda which is different is being parked in the same location for three days. Allows you to do the nightlife and relax a little more since you don't have to rush back to get on the ship...

Bermuda is great for teens. The beaches are beautiful and free. Reasonable transportation available ...you can even buy an unlimited bus and ferry pass for 3, 2 or 1 day. The shopping is nothing a teen would really be interested in, unless your teen is into fine linens and English China, so I would skip that entirely. There are crystal caves, beautiful snorkeling, gorgeous pink beaches (light pink...don't expect bubble gum pink), other beaches with "beach glass". Just don't rent scooters.....too dangerous!!!!!!
