I forgot that we went to the opening show with the comedian and the dancers on the first night. The show was good. Comedian was funny.

The next day was at sea. We had breakfast in the morning. They have yogurt, cereal, all sorts of fruits (except pineapple, which I was very disappointed about), every day different flavor butter (blueberry, peach, strawberry, ect.), cream cheese, salsa, oatmeal, grits, sausage, eggs, pancakes, french toast, waffles, bagels, toast, pastries, crossiants, made to order omlets, bacon, and hash. Did I miss anything?

Then off to Serenity to lay out. Most of the chairs were taken but I did find two together in the very back of the lower deck. It was very peacful and nice and warm. I stayed there for a long time so not much to report on anything that happened in the pool area during that time. One thing that I did notice is there was not much going on during the day. Even the at sea days. Maybe one pool activity each sea day. ALL of the deck room was used for lounge chairs.

Lunches were hit or miss for us. We just got different stuff every day. Except for the fish and chips. I don't eat seafood and Rick was going to get it the last day but ended up not feeling well. (The ship was trucking)

I did have the mangolian one day which standing in line made my eyes water. I had to keep coughing to get air in my lungs. The heat was so strong it over powers you when you are standing in line. I got the mild one and I couldn't even eat it. And I usually get medium or hot wings with my pizza. Cheeseburger from the grill was ok. It was no 5 guys burger but it worked. The fries that I had were not crispy at all so I didn't like those. My husband had the hummus and whatever that bread is they had with it everyday. Said it was really good and have had to buy some hummus as soon as we got home.

After some more laying out and beer drinking (me) it was time to shower and get ready for dinner. This was the first formal night. Which was the Captins Dinner and yes it is true the drinks are $1 off not free. This night turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. As I said we did the anytime dining and got to dinner about 645-700. We were seated as soon as we got there. We went right. This would be our last time going to that side of the dining room. We were seated next to another couple who looked annoyed to say the least. Their dinner plates (empty) were sitting in front of them. We had our menus in hand and were ready to order. About 15 minutes later the waiter did come take our order and I had requested some water. The couple next to us ended up leaving about 20-25 minutes after we got there with the empty dinner plates still sitting in front of them. This team must have been new because for the next 15 minutes they just looked at the plates like they didn't know what to do. Again I asked for water, and again and again. Long story short it took 2 hours for 2 courses. And we ended up leaving before dessert. My husband brought up the table number to the desk where they gave you the pager gave it to the lady and said in the 10 cruises that we have been on this is the worse service we have ever had. We will not sit in that section again. She was so ataken back all she could say was sorry.

After that we had a couple of drinks and went to bed.

Well since this took me two hours to write with all of the interruptions (kids & DH) I now have to go to bed as another long 7-6 day awaits me tomorrow.

Day 3 - Cozumel then

This was by far my favorite stop. We did the Oscar Brown tour #1 and #2 combined with the Zip Line. It was amazing. If this is something that intrests you in the slightest you should do it.

we are sailing in July and just signed up for this exact tour. glad to know you had a great time.

thanks for your review and looking forward to reading the rest.

Day 3 we were in Cozumel, Mecixo. We had decided not to do any excursions here as we have been here several times before and have done a lot. We hopped a cab into town ($10) and walked around shopping. The Silver and the vanilla are the most popular items here. You can find them everywhere. We haven't been there in a few years but everything was still exactly the same as we remember.

We took some pictures in town and then jumped back in the cab back to the ship. There is a little shopping center at the peir so you don't even have to go downtown.

Also they have 3 amigos and Fat Tuesdays. There are some fun pictures to be had here as well.

Getting off and on the ship was easy. No lines no waiting.

We were back on the ship by about 1 and had lunch. I was surprised at the amount of people still on the ship.

I did go back to Serenity into the hot tub for sailaway. Be careful as the horns are right above the hot tubs and they do blow them for the 30 minute warning to get your butt back on the ship. And they are VERY loud. These hot tubs were hot. Really hot. Like just put your legs in hot.

For dinner we went back to the dining room and requested Frans. We did have to wait about 25 minutes for a table. But when we were seated we received top notch service.

Also when we got back to our room there was a dish of goodies.

The show was a comedian that also did some juggling. He was very funny. I think that his jokes were better than his juggling though.

A couple of drinks some time in the casino and off to bed we went.
