aloha of the seas Posted April 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2010 I no this may sound like it pertains to the airline industry. But since we all fly to get to our cruise ship this is often very important. The following airlines agreed to No Carry-on Fees. They don't even charge for the first 2 checked bags.
SomeBeach Posted April 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2010 As mentioned, it wasn't in writing. Spirit dropped its fares, which supposedly makes it a wash on their fares plus charge vs other airlines. Lower fares also mean less taxes the gov't will collect as it's the price of the ticket that is taxed, not baggage fees. The other airlines are probably waiting to see what Congress does about taxing the carry on fees. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36628806/ns/travel-news/
