chickenwhisperer Posted April 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2010 We are sailing on QV on thursday 22nd. Just phoned Thomas Cook to organise currency and check situation, and they said we should be receiving a call direct from Cunard regarding current situation. Celebrity Eclipse maiden voyage from Southampton on Thursday has been requisitioned to help stranded ash people. Will our voyage be cancelled???? Not heard from Cunard yet, travel agent will chase them up for us. In the meantime, they advise not to order or collect currency! Anyone with any more news?? The circumstances surrounding the use of Eclipse has not, as far as I am aware, been published. I have seen no mention of STUFT. Do you know that STUFT has been invoked?
