Dockside Charters in Skagway

We are considering using Dockside Charters in Skagway.

 

When I contacted Greg, he said that the salmon fishing would be terrific in late May.

 

We will be in Skagway May 24th from 7am - 9pm.

 

Has anyone used this operator and has anyone had success salmon fishing during late May?

I have been to Alaska twice previously in May and I can not tell yout his is 100% true, but I swear they always said it was too early for the salmon... you may want to do some research before spending money on a fishing tour for salmon or see if the tour provider offers any guarantees or money back if the fishing is bad. Good luck!

Sam, I asked this question a few weeks ago..I've included the link to the post w/the answer I received. Basically, the answer was "no", and this came from someone who lives in the Yukon.

We will also be in Ketchikan and Juneau, but for much shorter port times.

 

Any suggestions for fishing at either of these ports?
