Downtown Seattle to Pier 91.

Hi Folks,

I have had a lot of good advice already from Seattle residents on a variety of topics, ie. hotels, restaurants etc. My question this time is, we are staying at The Red Lion on Fifth Ave 10th-12 th July, and are wondering when would be a good time to order a taxi from the hotel to Pier 91 on the monday morning. On all our previous cruises we have flown in on the day of the cruise and have had transport from airport to ship. We obviously don't want to arrive too early, but conversely we don't want to leave it late in the afternoon either. Thanks for any replies.

On a Monday it's not going to be an issue. Just go to T91 when you're ready; there will be plenty of taxis available on very short notice. Allow 15 min. from the Red Lion to T91. You can leave your bags with the concierge/front desk if you want to wait until after official check-out time to go to the dock.

11 am would be a perfect time. You'll be at the head of the rush to get on the ship.

Thanks, thats what we were hoping for. It'll be nice this time to get in around lunch time, rather than the usual late afternoon and it all feeling rather rushed on the first evening.

We are staying at the Doubletree at SEATAC the night before our cruise. What is the best option for transport to HAL pier 91 for a party of 4 and one scooter? How long is a taxi ride? Are there private van services that people have used? Thanks for any advice.
