Splendor 8M ?

Still wondering about 8M cabins on the Splendor..Looks alittle cave like.Has anyone cruised in one and would you do it again? We have one booked this fall.Worried I wont see the light of day :(.Like sun for at least part of the day..Thanks for any input.

You're talking about the aft facing cabins on decks 6 and 7 right? Those are some of the best cabins on the ship. We've had these afts several times and will get them whenever we can. We actually had 7440 on the Carnival Splendor and loved it.You will get sun depending on which way the ship is facing like any other balcony. It's great being back there. It will be come your favorite cabin category.

We love aft cabins !! I agree they are a real treat. But if you look at pictures of the Splendor afts on the 8th deck ..the overhang is Huge! I cant imagine any sun at all ..Thinking a lower deck would have been a better choice.Trouble with the Early Saver ..Carnival will charge 100 dollars to switch from 8N to 8M (deck 6 or 7 ) What to do..:(
