juice/soda card

Recommended Posts

Do I have to buy one card for juice, then another card for soda? Or does the soda card include both? Or is juice free like on other cruise lines? I kinda though juice was free, but then I read another thread about someone buying a juice card.... never heard of that.

I am going on royal at the end of June. If I understand this correctly, tax for the soda package is charged only when you buy in port. Not if you buy online or after you have reached international waters. So with this said, if you buy online on Royal website, they leave your mug in your stateroom. What happens if you don't like the design of the mug? Can you exchanged it at a bar? Also, you break even with the card when drink 3 or more a day? What happens if you like alcoholic beverages with soda in it such as a rum and coke. Will these cost less because you bought the soda card? Thanks for the answers.

No, you'll pay the going price for the mixed drinks.

You do not need to carry the 'cup' with you to get a drink from your package. Last year is was quite cumbersome and had no handle.

We used to just go up to any bar and show our card and got our drink of choice in a normal glass.

Same in the theatre's/by the pool when bar staff doing the rounds. Just show your card.

You could/can just buy a single/double rum/vodka/brandy etc and then also order a coke (free with the soda card) on its own and mix it yourself? Should save you a few pennies? Nothing in the 'rules' about doing that!

Glass of coke should go round a couple of spirits? ;)
