Sounds to me like the perfect choices! Panoramic views! We have the G/S aft 1600 booked for our Alaska trip next May.

We are booked in Cabin 1100 - Junior Suite - for our Alaska trip in August 2005. It is a great place to watch the Inside Passage go by. Not to mention you can see things from both sides of the Passage and not just one!

We had the most aft inner cabin on deck 3 (assigned to us) - and it was fine. It is a loooong walk from the central elevator bays to the aft cabins, though, so you might want to take that into consideration.

We didn't mind, as the walking was good for us, after all the eating. But it was time consuming to march down there 10,000 times a day!
