NYC cruiseport to JFK airport advice

We're taking the Princess Cruise Tour of Canada/New England next fall. What is the best ( most economical,easiest,etc.) way to get from the NYC cruiseport to JFK airport? :o

I suggest you ask this question on the North America home ports east coast board. There are 2 terminals in NYC Manhattan and Brooklyn. Do you know which one you are leaving from?

1.If you have 4 people I would just cab it.

2.You can take a train (subway) and then the airtrain to the airport.

("E" train to Queens to connect to airtrain - not too far from the Pier - runs on 8th ave stops at 42nd st, and 50th st.)

3.The cheapest and longest way would be to take the "E" train (subway) to Queens and get off at Union typ station. Right upstairs there is a bus that goes right out to the airport. (There are signs)
