PhillyFolks Posted April 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2010 Anyone know whether you can get a spa pass in advance, or do you have to wait and get that on-board? We'll be on the Jewel in May, and don't want to miss out -- especially since it seems there are only a limited number available. Is that right? (looking to avoid running into Spongebob, and the spa seems the best bet)
Micchi Posted April 29, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2010 You can buy OBC for the spa, but no, you can't buy the pass before you get on the ship. Just go there on the first day - yeah, they're limited, but they won't sell out so quickly that you can't get one :)
TriMomma Posted April 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2010 Is the spa pass worth it? I am a self-professed "Spa Slut".
watchdiva Posted April 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2010 If you're in a suite, just e-mail the concierge a week or so before your cruise and he/she can arrange your passes prior to boarding if you're worried they will stop selling the weekly passes. If you definitely don't want to lose out on the weekly pass, as soon as you board go directly to the spa and purchase it. The spa staff is on hand at the spa (IIRC) starting at noontime..... TriMomma - not sure what ship you're sailing on but the spa rocks on the Pearl and Dawn! For DH and I, it's a great place to relax/hang out away from all the crowds and either lounge in the T pool or whirlpool or nap on the heated tile loungers. njhorseman Posted April 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2010 On some cruises we have seen the spa pass being sold at a table set up by spa personnel in the pier waiting room area, allowing you to buy it before you board the ship on embarkation day.
