Late evening 'walk around snacks'?

Hi recent Explorer Cruisers:

We'll be on the Explorer 11/7/10 for 12 nights. We were just wondering if any of the wait staff or others, come by with little sandwiches, crackers, etc., in the casino, lounges,etc. around the 11:00-11:30ish p.m :confused:

I remember they had little snacks on NCL in the casino around 11-11:30 p.m. On Celebrity, they walked around various areas, (piano bar I call), also with little goodies to nibble.

It's not a big deal if they don't. We've never starved late night on a cruise.:D

Hmmm...I don't remember walkaround snacks, however the Cafe Promenade is open and has a wonderful selection of little sandwiches, cookies, pizza, etc.

Now that you mention it I remeber this happening in the past. I do not recall it on any recent cruises. The Champagne Bar and Vintages do offer some evening snacks.

I know RC used to have servers offering snacks in the casino and bars around 11:30-midnight. I didn't see anyone offering snacks in January on Serenade so maybe they have discontinued snacks. I used to love the chocolate-dipped strawberries and shrimp on toast with cheese.

 

There are places onboard to get snacks late at night so maybe RC figured having staff walking around with trays was redundant.

And if you go up to the bar they have bar mix which you can walk around with. It comes in like a milk bottle thingy if I remember correctly.
