DanaMarie Posted May 5, 2010 Author #76 Share Posted May 5, 2010 Edwin doing the YMCA Sunset Towel Animal The ship was starting to get rocky and I wasn’t feeling good so it was an early night for us. During the night the winds got up to 50 mph. Eek! My parents went to the show that night after dinner and they enjoyed it.
DanaMarie Posted May 5, 2010 Author #77 Share Posted May 5, 2010 Day 7 - Last Day at Sea When I woke up it was still windy outside which was causing me to not feel so good. We ate breakfast on Lido and I felt like crap so I went back to bed. Hubby and I stayed in bed all day. Got up a little later in the day, started to pack – boo. DanaMarie Posted May 5, 2010 Author #78 Share Posted May 5, 2010 Dinner started with a crab cake, then the chicken and fetticini, mostly everyone else had Prime Rib, MIL had the eggplant and zucchini and loved it, hubby had Shrimp. Took pics with the waiters and listened to them sing to us one final time. Gave them their extra tips and dropped the comment card in the box. DanaMarie Posted May 5, 2010 Author #82 Share Posted May 5, 2010 After dinner I was feeling much better and I wanted to go to the Battle of the Sexes show in Follies. It was fun and we ended up in a tie. I was happy because I actually knew an answer to a question and I got the ladies a point! Ladies Night Oh What a Night – Woot Woot! After that show was one of the singers with the band so we stayed and listened to that. Then we wa tched Bingo and stayed for the Legends Show. I saw it on the last cruise but I still wanted to see it again. Now would be a good time to talk about Weeeee Jimmy. I thought he was funny throughout the week. I don’t really care about the announcements or whatever throughout the day so that doesn’t bother me. I loved the fact that he was wearing Batman underware during the Legends Show. Hilarious The chocolate cake and chocolate milkshake my dad got from the coffee place outside of Follies My last Kiss on the Lips Moms last strawberry daquri Last towel animal After the show was over we went back to the room and put the luggage outside and went to sleep. Debarkation- We woke up, had lido breakfast one last time and went back to the room. They started calling self assist to go off. We left the room and went down to deck 2 to wait for our number 15 to be called. They were on number 3 when one of the crew told all of us in the room that we had general clearnace and could all debark regardless of what number. We went and stood in line but Wee Jimmy was still calling numbers. There was a hold up in line so Wee Jimmy was telling jokes. One final ding of our cards and we were off the ship and looking for our luggage. Went through customs which wasnt bad at all. The guy we talked to was real nice, just asked us about out Yager and the cartons of ciggs we brought off for my inlaws. We found the taxi driver and we were back home in no time. I think it was around 11 when I pulled in to my driveway. The whole family loved this cruise and we would all go again. Mom wants to go to Alaska next time, Joey and I really want to go to Italy, and my inlaws want to go to Vegas. I also would like to do the Eastern route one of these times. So many choices. LOL. But I promised hubby that he could pick the next vacation and he wants to go to San Diego to go to a comic book convention so I guess thats where we are off to next. Hope this has helped some of you. Any questions just ask! :D

proudpatriot07 Posted May 6, 2010 #92 Share Posted May 6, 2010 During dinner dads dentures broke again. I told them to try Guest Service desk for glue instead of going back to the infirmary. We went and the poor lady behind the desk looked shocked that we needed to glue his teeth back together but it worked… for now. During the next couple days this would happen on and off and we would just go back to the desk and get the glue and fix the teeth. Always something. After dinner more of the same, just hanging out talking with some drinks. Strawberry Daquri and Mocha Chocolate Getaway Mocha chocolate getaway looks awesome :). Going to put that on my list of drinks to try on my next cruise :).

Hogladyrider Posted May 7, 2010 #99 Share Posted May 7, 2010 Great review and LOVED the pictures! One question, we have never been to Nachi but it looks fabulous. Isn't it an all inclusive one fee for all resort? Do you remember how much the fee is per person? Thanks Legend is our favorite ship so far!
