formal nights on aurora

heading off on our first cruise soon, just wondering how formal the evening dresses should be on formal night? i have this dress and wondered would it be ok, or should i get a new full length dress?

I would probably wear that dress on a semi formal or formal night. Its fine. A lot of ladies will be wearing long dresses, some wear cocktail dresses like that.

 

How many formal nights have you got? Is it just a weekender with one formal night? Most ladies wear a different dress on each formal night, so if you only have one dress and have 3-4 formals yes I would buy at least one if not 2 more dresses.

 

All the p&o ships especially Aurora are very formal on formal nights with 90-95% of the men in black tux.

hi LibraLass, thanks for the reply. I have some long evening dresses as well so I should be ok, was just wondering was that dress formal enough that I could wear it to the formal evenings or should it be kept for semi-formal, its a great excuse to update the wardrobe anyway!
