Dream Toilets and Excursion Arrangements.

With no toilets shown on the deck plans I had a prowl around and here are the positions of all the ones we found.

 

Deck 4 Just opposite the entrance to the Orion restaurant starboard side. Just as you enter the cabin area.

 

Deck 8 Just inside the Left entrance to the Theatre, on your left hand side.

 

Starboard side in the centre of the ship after the card room

 

At the rear of the ship just outside the Casino and Delo Bar.

 

Deck 9

 

At the front opposite the Theatre balcony entrances. Either side of the front stairwell.

 

At the stern on the port side of the promenade deck, just before entering the Lido pool area. It has a shower too for rinsing down after the pool

 

Deck 11

Either side of the stage area by the pool near the terrace grill.

 

Excursion Management.

 

for all excursions we left the ship on Deck 4 front stairwell right outside the Orion Restaurant.

Apart from Villefranche, where we all met in the theatre and were taken down to tenders in batches, all excursions said meet outside by coaches 15 min before departure.

This was fine for afternoon excursions when the ship had been docked all morning as people just strolled off.

But on several occasions the ship was late docking and the gangplank had not been put out. People congregated in the foyer area outside the Orion and caused blockage and were queueing back up the stairwells which was dangerous. And also people were going back and forwards trying to get in for their breakfasts.

It would have been much safer to have everyone meet in the theatre or one of the lounges.

All the toilets we used were clean and tidy, not smelly.
