txjules Posted May 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2010 I have looked all over for information about our room. We're on the Riviera deck. I specifically chose that deck because everyone said "Be sure to NOT be under a dance club or weight room" and I'm at the front of the boat, because ppl said "Dont get a room at the back". Is this good? I'm a first time cruiser, and I'm nervous as all get out. I understand that it "wont be perfect" but I want it to be, DARNIT! lol:D Bottom line: I want to change rooms or upgrade before its too late :)

My advice to you, get a cabin near the center of the ship & close to an elevator. Check what is on the decks above & below you. If there are just cabins, you are set. We were just on Conquest & she is a great ship. FYI If you are near the front on a lower deck & you have a tender stop, you WILL hear the anchor drop. I personally like the back of the ship but we all have our likes!! Hope this helps. Don't be nervous, you WILL become an addict!!
serene56 Posted May 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2010 I too prefer being towards the aft elevator-- putting me close to the food and pools for less traveling
