*Request Charlie for your guide. His first occupation was as an environmentalist. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the rain forrest and all of Belize culture.

*Sit on the front seat of the van so you make sure and hear all the interesting things your guide has to say on the way to the river. They will point out things of interest along the way.

*If anyone in your group gets tired or just wants to take in the view, ask your guide to make a train and they will hook on to their tubes and pull you along.

*When your guide says "Butts up!" They really mean it! Raise that toush!

*If you take a disposable waterproof camera, realize that your pictures inside the cave will not turn out because it is so dark.

*Take the jump off the cliff! You will be glad that you did!

*Ask your guide about the local "*****" and they may give you a sample.

*If you have ever dreamed of being Tarzan, mention that to your guide as well and he may hook you up.

*Bring dry clothes to change into (we changed at the restaurant and the restrooms were nice and clean).

*Savor every bite of your delicious lunch because it is to die for. If you are one for spicy stuff, try the local hot sauce on your meal.

*Try a local beer when you return to the pier, it's great!

*If you want to email loved ones while you are traveling, there is an internet cafe right at the pier where you line up to take the tenders back to the ship. It only costs $3 for 15 minutes which is CHEAP compared to ship prices.

*That's all I can think of! Hope that helps! :)
