smileon Posted May 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2010 Bit of a hypothethetical question - but notice on one of Azura's cruises this July the price of a balcony cabin is actually cheaper than an outside. If I book an outside -or any lower grade for that matter - and then notice nearer sailing a higher grade is available at a cheaper/comprable price can I get my cabin changed? Would I have to cancel my booking and then rebook? Can't decide whether to book now for next July or hold off 'till much nearer the time - would usually book early as normally go school holidays but this is just before holidays and this year there are some really good deals to be had! Too bad I can't just go this July!! Any thoughts welcome. Thank you
Janey Posted May 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2010 Hi, if you change/upgrade you have to pay the price applicable on the date of your original booking, not the price currently advertised.
BORDER REIVER Posted May 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hi, I don't know if this is any help, but I booked our 18 day cruise in early June last year and the price for the same cabin / stateroom (balcony) today is over £540 more - £270 per person. Quite a saving.
LEESRE Posted May 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2010 Sometimes it is far cheaper tio cancel the booking and then rebook, yes you loose your deposit but sonetimes it works out you save more than you loose. They work out the price when you first booked not the price you are seeing now.
