Friedtater Posted May 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2010 We have never been on the Triumph and we are doing any time dining on May 15th sailing...Do they have booths? I have seen on some reviews the tables for 2 are close together...might as well do assigned seating if we are that close! I figured a booth for two would be awesome if they are in the dining room. Thanks!
Knights on the Beach Posted May 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2010 They do have booths. We had a booth all three times on Triumph but had four, six and five people in our party, respectively.
CruizinMom2c Posted May 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2010 We had a booth that was made for 3 people...since it was the 3 of us....I loved it!! It was on the 2nd level of the MDR.
pammy3 Posted May 8, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2010 Yes, there are booths (at least there were in the Paris dining room). But the tables are set really high. I felt like I needed a booster seat! If you're tall, I guess it wouldn't be a problem.
Friedtater Posted May 8, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted May 8, 2010 Thanks for the info! Hope we can get a booth...You never know until you ask!
serene56 Posted May 8, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2010 On the freedom and used anytime dining. I wanted a booth but was told the booths are for 3-4 people. if there is only two of you I wouldnt count on the booth. Seems too many people want the anytime dining and space is at a premium. If you get one---great. but dont count on it
cruise pup Posted May 8, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2010 2 years ago on the Victory my table had a horrendous experience with waitstaff. To make up for it the maitre d' re-assigned me to a booth which was for me. Another tablemate joined me so they did allow just 2 in a booth but that was for extenuating circumstances. I don't think it would have been all that wonderful if 4 people were seated there. I've been seated at a table for 2 on other cruises and there were no problems. It was on the 2nd floor of the midship dining room and was a really nice location; right at the railing overlooking the room (it was near the midship exit and the restrooms were right outside).
