Roll Call Silver Whisper May 24,2010 Rome -Nice

Well, I have been waiting patiently for a roll call for our cruise and have not seen one so here it is:) Anyone else on this first trip post drydock?

Is anyone staying in Rome prior to the cruise? If so; any thoughts on transfers to the the Port. I would like to avoid paying 100 euros for a Limo but the thought of pulling our bags through the Termini doesn't sound appealing either.

We will be staying at the Westin. Since my husband bought his air through the cruise line his transfer is included and I paid for mine through the cruise line. The hotel we meet at appears to be directly across the street from the Westin. We leave for Rome tomorrow afternoon and I am getting really excited. This is our first time on Silversea. We have cruised several times on Celebrity. I have packed but my husband hasn't started.

Keep us posted if possible on the new additions from the dry dock. We will be boarding in Nice for a 12 day to Southampton. Have a great cruise and don't mess up the ship! :o)
