ragtopwife Posted May 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2010 I was wondering if flavored wines and wine based beverages are allowed to be carried on as the one bottle of wine per passenger. For example: ChocoVine "Fine French Cabernet subtly with a rich dark chocolate from Holland, paired together to create a decadent, silky smooth drink..." Or O'Reillys Irish Cream "A tasty irish cream drink made from a neutral wine base..."
Traveler353 Posted May 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2010 I don't see why not. Let us know how it works out.
DGP1111 Posted May 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2010 I was wondering if flavored wines and wine based beverages are allowed to be carried on as the one bottle of wine per passenger. For example: ChocoVine "Fine French Cabernet subtly with a rich dark chocolate from Holland, paired together to create a decadent, silky smooth drink..." I know for a fact that particular item is completely OK to take onboard, as I did so earlier this year in my carryon. Took it as a sort of 'goof wine gift' for a wonderful friend (and fellow CC member). There was no issue whatsoever. I personally describe this offering as "Napa Valley meets YooHoo", and have yet to hear anyone mention was it pairs with. When I tried it at an earlier wine tasting, most decided it would have to be a stand-alone wine experience. :) Have you found anything it does go well with?? (thanks for any answer)
