Carnival Liberty July 2011

Hello everyone,

 

Very excited to report that myself and a few friends will be on our VERY first cruise ever! We are sooooo looking forward to the expereience and was hoping someone/anyone would be able to shed some light on some "newbies". Such as:

 

* Things to do

* Things not to do

* What to bring, what not, etc.

* What to expect

* Prices, etc.

* Cabins, etc.

 

We are getting a balcony cabin, and I beleive when we did deposit, our rep at Carnival said that we would be level 6. Is this good, bad, etc.

 

Any all info will be greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.

 

If anyone is sailing on this date also, would love to hear from you also.

Congrats! We are also on the July 9th sailing. Will be our second time on the Liberty.

I'm not real good with advice on the things you asked about. I have learned so much from these boards. I read them all the time and jot down notes on things I want to do, pack, etc.

At some point, we will need to start a roll call. Happy reading and planning.

One more thing....I think it's awesome you are getting a balcony on your 1st cruise. We went on 3 before our 1st balcony. It would be difficult to sail without one, I love having one.
