Le Lavandou

We have a port day in Le Lavandou, and are renting a car. We plan to visit Bormes-les-Mimosas in the morning which appears to be very close by, but we need a destination for the afternoon, preferably no more than 1 hours drive (each way). Any suggestons? The rental car has to be back by 5pm. This seems to be a bit off the beaten path, and I'm having trouble finding much information on the area.

St Tropez is also close and could be worth considering.

Sorry, I should have said I think it is only approx 16 or so miles, so maybe no more than a half hour.
