A beach without a resort

I just want to go to a beach and walk on the sand for a few minutes and take pictures. I don't need to buy a day pass and stay and swim. Is this possible? It seems like there is always a resort pass needed to do anything.

Yes, just take a taxi to Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island. It's public (free). There are hotels along it, but there is public access.
