phoenix1181 Posted May 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2010 How many slot tournaments are being run with the Navigator 11/6/10 cruise as the top prize? Do all recent cruises on all the ships have this same prize? I wonder how many "winners" will actually benefit from the win and take the cruise................ tyler6597 Posted May 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I know the Mariner of the Seas had two tournaments for a seven day cruise. I always do the slot tournament. I have won 6 times now. The buy in Price on the mariner was $50.00. It has increased quite a bit since my first win. Good luck.:D
phoenix1181 Posted May 12, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted May 12, 2010 The Navigator cruise is a 5 day Western Caribbean and it's a take it or lose it. It's not transferable & I'm really curious how many people won but can't take the cruise for one reason or another.
Sequim88 Posted May 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2010 Not the same sort of "tournament" but on our last cruise one of the roll call people organized a group play sort of tournament that was so fun we did it a couple more times. Basically we had 15 people put $20 each in a pool. We mutually agreed on a slot machine (dollar) put the pot in and took turns spinning. Basic rule was we would spin until it was gone or if we hit a jackpot we would vote to either quit and split it or cash out except for original $300 and split the difference before continuing to play. We actually played a long time and with everyone rooting for the spinner attracted a fairly large crowd of spectators including curious casino staff. We did it in early afternoon on sea days when the casino was not crowded. Of course we never hit a jackpot but the entertainment value was huge. I thought this was a lot more fun that the ship organized tournaments. Possible variation.... each spinner spins again any time they win more than the bet. This way the "luckiest" people spin more. dixieva Posted May 12, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2010 We always have at least one "slot pull" with our friends from the roll call. I agree it's such fun! We've never won anything big. I think one time we doubled our money and had played for a long time so we cashed out and split it. I also like the formal slot tourny but I hope it's not $50 to enter:eek:. We've never paid more than $20 to play.

Yes, we've done the same thing with our M&M group. Didn't win anything, but it sure was fun watching the crowd of spectators come running whenever we hit a small jackpot and we started shouting. PattyG12 Posted May 12, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 12, 2010 The explorer had a winner last week. She was very excited about going. (DH came in second ... $85). I think it was good because if he had won the cruise, we wouldn't have been able to take it anyway.
phoenix1181 Posted May 13, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Obviously, my question wasn't clear................ Have you, or someone you know, won the Navigator 11/06/10 cruise in a slot tournament? If the answer is yes, are you going?
