My first cruise was a "girl-trip" with my sister, an experienced cruiser. She's been trying to talk me into this for years and I had a wonderful time . . . so wonderful, in fact, that instead of a party to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary in November, we've already booked a cruise!

 

As I have diabetes and other health issues, we were determined to eat smart (yes, even on a cruise) and stay busy and active. So we took our fitness hula hoops with us and we got to use them to our heart's content.

I've written a review of our experiences aboard the Sky, but the Reader's Digest condensed version is that we loved it! Carnival is going to be hard-pressed to match these high marks! AND btw, we both came back without gaining an ounce! Whoo hoo!
