pjtulsa Posted May 13, 2010 #26 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Actually they do, with all their ships except those that sail under the Carnival name. Cunard, Princess, Hal, Costa, Ibero Cruceros, & Seaborne all have the beautifulclassic, look.... Carnival is the only sister in the group to have the funky designs that I am aware of. Yes, I am very aware of the other brands.. but I was referring to the "Carniva"l Name... It sounds like many of us appreciate the new look of the Holiday. Its just my opinion but It is indeed time for a change in designers, Times change as do stlyes.. CARNIVAL,,,, ARE YOU LISTENING??????:D
MrsZee Posted May 13, 2010 Author #27 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Looking at the Holiday, though, you can see they took off a lot of what makes Carnival the "fun ship". There is no slide at all and I imagine it is a much more muted and upscale atmosphere too. We all have that option by sailing under one of Carnival's sister companies, but don't count on Carnival ever losing the flashy they are known for. They market the "fun ship" motto far too hard for that.
islahopper Posted May 13, 2010 #28 Share Posted May 13, 2010 WOW!! I love it. The Holiday was my first cruise in 1992, it now looks better than it ever did.
JerseyshoreBruce Posted May 13, 2010 #29 Share Posted May 13, 2010 It is beautiful but with that said i bet its alot more expensive to sail on her now! Carnival is fine with me i go for the islands and atmosphere....not so much colors or statues on the ships.
h_blond2 Posted May 13, 2010 #30 Share Posted May 13, 2010 I have never been on the Holiday, but for some reason I don't think she looked this good before! Wow!!
Xokeman Posted May 13, 2010 #31 Share Posted May 13, 2010 My very favorite ship to cruise on .. wish we had it back in the Carnival fleet!!! I'd love to sail on her again at NOLA
travelntreats Posted May 13, 2010 #32 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Carnival could take a lesson or two regarding their current decor(s), based on these pictures.....classy, upscale and a tad of elegance !
southbayer Posted May 14, 2010 #33 Share Posted May 14, 2010 Your right!! Carnival needs to do away with all the orange, and other funky colors! I love those soft tone colors. I think Joe Farcus should study these pics very closely...he might learn something..lol Or Lets let these designers loose on Carnival Brezze

CrusinCyndi Posted May 14, 2010 #36 Share Posted May 14, 2010 The ship's decor looks like IKEA on steroids. Interesting, but seems a little cold. However that would not stop me from sailing on her.
