Was it wonderful? I am getting so nervous after reading posts about other Carnival ships that have been awful. I even considered cancelling and going to Royal Caribbean, but it's a lot more$$$.

Hopefully you can put my mind at ease.

It is an awesome cruise you will love it... remember the people that don't like certain ships or just carnival in general usually have preconcieved notions or aren't happy about anything. Just have a great time and don't worry about what others did not like. In my opinion this ship and cruise are the best itinerary. We did it in Feb (check my review in my Signature) and just loved it. By the way to the OP thanks for taking the time to do the review I love it. :D

I was on The Victory 4/25/10. And yes she might need updating, but other than that the cruise was AWESOME! The ship, service, food, ports, tours. If I could do it all over again, I would do it in a second. Normally when I go on a cruise I attend the shows in the Theater each night. This cruise we went to the shows a couple of nights, and other nights enjoyed the piano bar, karaoke bar, adriatic lounge and the casino bar. There was also music, a band and of course some of the wonderful new friends we met on the cruise that made us enjoy those venues.

Oh and I forgot. Thank purrlinda for posting your wonderful pics. My extra SD memory card I brought was an "HD" (high capacity) card and was not compatible with my older camera, so I was not able to take as many pics as I planned on taking. Some new friends we met on the cruise will be sending us a DVD of their pics, but seeing yours until we receive that DVD is so nice. I had to pick and choose which ones to delete when my card got full and some of the ones I deleted were the ones of the ship.

Our friends were in 9203. The room is essentially the same except everything's opposite.
