Hi all,

 

We have booked a cruise onboard PO Ventura, this will be our first and probably last cruise with this line.

We decided to book a balcony stateroom category JG. We were checking the PO website and found out they were offering a good deal for a CC category (Deluxe balcony). The difference being around 150GBP per passenger. We decided to upgrade and pay the difference. We were surprised PO refused our money. Maybe they don't need to as Carnival is making a big profit. I was surprised by the answer. We normally use Celebrity, Royal caribbean and Azamara and they do not object to get extra cash. Even if the price is going down, they adjust to the new lower price if you ask. If you want to cancel your cruise, they just change the date and do not ask for penalties

Why PO Cruises can not offer the same level of service?
