dcronin Posted May 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2010 We recently traveled with a couple who had each put one bottle of wine in each carry-on that went through security with them - and each put a bottle of wine in their checked luggage. They had no problem as the bags were checked in different areas in boarding. I know some of you don't want to hear this wine topic again - but thought I'd pass it on. Phxazzcruisers Posted May 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2010 This has been pretty much beaten to death. There are a lot of ways to "sneak" wine on board the ship. Some get away with it, some don't. The rule is two bottles of wine at embarcation per room are allowed. The more people try to take advantage of the system, the more likely Celebrity will one day say "ENOUGH" and not let anyone bring anything on board. It's nice we can bring our two bottles. RCI does not allow ANY.
Softball20 Posted May 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Yes, but other cruise lines allow more. It wouldn't stop me from sailing Celebrity, and we'll bring our four (two cabins), but there are lines out there that do allow unlimited amounts of wine, subject to a corkage fee, of course, in the dining room.
