tarheelmjfan Posted January 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Budget Queen suggested that I ask you about a fishing excursion for my DH & DS(13) in June. They would like to go fresh water salmon fishing. The best opportunity to take the excursion would be in Skagway, but if the fishing is much better in Ketchikan, we'll redo our plans. Also, would they be more successful salt water fishing. They've never been salmon fishing, & I would like for them to have the best experience available. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking that the reason they are leaning toward fresh water is all the deep sea fishing horror stories. Bottom line, can they have a memorable experience fresh water fishing in Skagway in June or would they need to fish in Ketchikan? By memorable, I mean can they catch some fish. :p Thanks for your help! :)
