Taking flowers on to the ship.

Hi All,

 

I was hoping to pick up flowers to take onboard, from Southampton and also possibly at later stops.

 

I have read that there are issues about bringing fresh produce onboard due to quarantine/import laws.

 

Does this still stand for Southampton.

 

On previous cruises I have been in Spain and Turkey and brought flowers on board with no questions or issues.

 

Any thoughts?

I bought some flowers in flower market in Madeira and took them onboard for our cabin, and I wasn't told off.But perhaps a phone call to pando may be worth considering to ask ,?

I do love flowers. I have them all over the house.

When i am on our vacation, be it vacation at sea, or a land based vacation I always purchase flowers.

I have often done so on cruises. Never a problem before.

We have taken flowers on board at many ports of call, Madeira, Thailand, Tonga, to name some.

 

If in doubt, check the policy for the port of call when you are on board.
