How Far In Advance Can I Book Specialty Restaurants On Freedom?

I've exhausted the search button and the website trying to find the answer, and even the RCI reservation specialist couldn't tell me.

 

How far in advance can I book Chops and Portafino for our cruise on Freedom (sail date Dec 5, 2010)? I always forget to book these and end up eating at the earliest/latest time on port days.

I am just barely within 6 months of my 11/7 sailing on Voyager, so I gave it a try. Still not available for online reservations. I bet it varies by ship too...

I thought it might have something to do with whether full payment had been made. Not sure.

We are 3 months from our next cruise and still can't...but i think it may work after we make our full payment next month???;)

We are paid in full for Sept. Brilliance Med. cruise. Four months out and still can't book MTD or Specialty Rest. - GROAN!

I called RCI again this morning and the rep said "I think it's 30 days out, but I'm not sure". Seems like a simple question that noone at RCI can answer!
