cabin upgrades

Hi. Does P&O Cruises ever do cabin upgrades?.

Yes, i had one last December on Ventura. Went from a Balcony to a deluxe balcony.

thats good.how and when did you find out, was it on your cruise personliser or from your travel agent, and how long before your cruise.?

It was on my personaliser about 6 weeks before i was due to leave i think. My travel agent new nothing about it.

Interested to know, has anyone received an upgrade after a cabin number has been allocated? I imagine once this is done the cruiseline is unlikely to move you, but does this happen? Thanks

We have been on many cruises, but this is the first with P&O And the first time ever we have not been upgraded.

We got upgraded but we were on a guarantee rather than having a cabin number.

We booked a specific cabin (B265 on Aurora) with P&O via their website (the last at a particular grade) and we were later upgraded (to B226) - we got an email telling us about it & about 24hrs later it was on the personaliser - it was from a mini suite to a suite so worth having:D

(unfortunately only for a weekender)
