cruisin1982 Posted May 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Use the showers in the spa they are great and are free to use you will need you room key if you use a locker. We have been on this ship 2 times and don't have any other ship to compare. We loved it easy to get around. We would walk around on the upper decks late in the evening and was real peaceful. If you don't mind spend the extra $ and eat in the up scale dinning room it is well worth it. Try different things to eat and if you want more to eat just ask. Get to the shows about 15 min early to get a good seat. If you like there is Bingo before each show. Some of the bars are loaded with smoke. I don't smoke so it was not a good thing. Do room service at least once. Take the stairs if you are only going from the follies to the fireside. The casino was a hit or miss limit yourself and you will have fun. 1 more thing you have to do the water slide. Have fun. Mike
clearwatergirl Posted May 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Great ship. Been on her twice. Try to eat in the MDR. I thought the wait staff was excellent. If you like sushi, don't miss it in the early evening on Deck 3, I think past the Casino towards the stern. Most shows in the Follies lounge were good. Try to go to one production show. Try the piano bar. Aft pool is lovely and so is the bar service. Try the specialty restaurant. Food and service outstanding. We liked participating in the Walk for a cure on the last sea day.:D

Name Of The Game Posted May 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2010 3 pools instead of only 2! Bars/lounges are spread throughout decks 3 & 4 and you can walk all the way through unlike some ships where you have to go to deck 5 and walk down. JYeagersGrl Posted May 25, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2010 The Enchanted forest is a nice place to go hang out relax and get away from it especially if you have bad weather at all. There was like NO ONE ever there and we found it a great place to just snuggle and look out on the ocean with each other. That said there is a staircase back there to the arcade and circle c so don't get too comfortable lol. Unicorn bar is awesome.
Name Of The Game Posted May 25, 2010 #8 Share Posted May 25, 2010 That's right....the Enchanted Forest is a cute little hideaway....if you can find it.

CRVW1607 Posted May 25, 2010 #10 Share Posted May 25, 2010 We loved the Legend. I think the decor is very classy, especially when compared to some earlier ships. The Enchanted Forest is nice to see, although it's just a place to sit and talk (or look out the windows). The aft of the Lido is the adult only pool and spa (which is very nice if you, like we were, are travelling without children), and the middle of the Lido deck has two pools, so plenty of room for all the families. The casino was well laid out, I think, except for the ONE poker table (on our cruise, the same guys just stayed there the whole time, even if they weren't playing), but it's good for those who want to play poker and not smoke since it's just outside of the casino in the non-smoking area. We also went to the steakhouse, which I highly suggest visiting. The food is superb. To be quite honest, though, we spent the majority of our time on our balcony when on the ship. :) That was our favorite part!
okwriter Posted May 25, 2010 #11 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Take the stairs if you are only going from the follies to the fireside. Mike What is the fireside?
Name Of The Game Posted May 25, 2010 #12 Share Posted May 25, 2010 It's a lounge on the first/second floor at the front of the ship with a very colorful decor. An Asian band played in there and that's where they had the farewell party.

gagirl Posted May 25, 2010 #16 Share Posted May 25, 2010 One night at dinner the Even number cabins wear blue and odd cabin wear red....so plan accordingly. Also have someone in your party wear a watch. The cabins do not have a clocks so you will not be late for dinner, it is also handy having one when you are on the islands. dizneydawn Posted May 26, 2010 #25 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Is it just the aft pool and spa that is for adults or is the deck space around the pool for adults only? Do the pool attendants actually enforce the adult only rule? Thanks for the help!
