LeHarve Renting a car on a Sunday

We will be arriving in LeHarve on a Sunday in July. Is it possible to rent a car on a Sunday? As our ship overnights we would like to have the car through Monday. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Don't want to be a party-pooper, but it's not likely, my friend. Sunday is generally a no-work day here! Who are you planning to use? If it's a major player I would heartily advise you to check with the central reservation office well before your travel dates. Good luck!

No company selected, had heard Sunday would be a problem and was hoping someone might know of a company that would be open.

 

As we have two days here we would like to get out on our own.

We have the same problem. Today I searched again and Europcar is offering an "after hour" service for about Euro 18.00. The whole rental for one day is about US$ 165.00. Ouch!

They responded to me as well. They only have automatics, so I will be probably doing train or cabs.
